I created a mixed media canvas featuring this image and there is a tutorial up on my channel.
It shows you how I altered the canvas board.
Just click the link below to check it out:
I used a combination of die cuts, texture paste, stencils, stamps, and Distress Paints for the background.
For the image I used my alcohol markers to color her in.
Here's a quick rundown of the colors I used:
-Skin- FS9, Beige, R20
-Hair- E70, E29, E79
-Shirt, Bow & Cup- RV000, RV63, RV55, B12, B14
I trimmed the image panel to fit the canvas and used foam tape to attach it.
To finish it off, I used some flowers from Recollections and Prima.
I gessoed them, sprayed them to match the background, and attached a few to some lace flowers I made.
Next I hot glued them down on the canvas, arranging them around the image.
And ta-da!! Canvas complete!!
I hope you enjoyed this project for today!!
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your Friday!!
