"Cookies Anyone?": A "Sweet" Thank You Card Tutorial & Video!

Hey everyone it's Elina here!
I hope your Tuesday is off to a great start!
For today's post I have a "sweet" Thank You card
featuring a stamp set from Two Paper Divas.
I used the "Mason Jar Accessories #4" to create a cool background.

These cookies look good enough to eat! Lol!
Chocolate Chip cookies are my absolute favorite cookies!
So this card is probably one of my faves.

I used my Cricut Explore to cut the scalloped card layer &
used my Gelly Roll pen to add stitching lines.
For the cookies, I used my E11, E13, E15, & E18 Copic markers.

I hope you enjoyed this card & video!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Fairy Jar Lantern Card & Video Tutorial!

Hey everyone it's Elina here & happy Saturday to all!
I hope your weekend is off to a good start.
For today's post I have a card I created inspired by Pinterest board.
I like to go through my pin boards when I need to find inspiration.
I especially love going through the Home Décor boards
to see which pins I could turn into a card.
I find it challenging to use the supplies I have to re create a look.

You can check out the video tutorial below to
see how I take a "Fairy Jar Lantern" pin and turn it into a card.

I love how this card turned out.
I used my "Large Mason Jar" stamp set from Two Paper Divas &
a Tinkerbell silhouette I cut from my Cricut Explore.

I used vellum paper for the mason jar to give it a frosted look.
Then I added twine and flowers along the top.
And finished it off with the sentiment and sparkles.

I think it's a cool way to use your pin boards as inspiration.

I hope you enjoyed this card & video!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great weekend!

"Bronies are Cool" Card & Video Tutorial feat. Stamp Anniething's "Dean" stamp!

Hey everyone it's Elina here and happy T.G.I.F to you all!
I hope your Friday is off o a good start!
For today's post I have a card I created inspired by "My Little Pony".
As you know, I love altering stamped images to give a new look.
If you read my previous post and/or video "Summertime means Unicorns"
you saw how I created a "unicorn" costume for the "Melanie" stamp from Stamp Anniething.
So going off of that idea, I decided to alter the "Dean" stamp from Stamp Anniething & give a custom hoodie inspired by "My Little Pony".

My daughters were huge fans of the show & I remember
my oldest telling me that the show had a huge cult following among guys.
They even have a name for these fans, "Brony".
I thought that was cool and she showed me the licensed merchandise geared to them.
So when we came across a hoodie based on "Rainbow Dash" that's when inspiration struck.
First I had figure out how to create the hoodie on the existing image.
So going back to my "unicorn" costume, I stamped the image &
drew the hoodie on top to create a template.

You can check out the process video below:

Doesn't he look adorable?!

I love how this image turned out.
I hope to be able to film how I create the templates
so make sure to stay tuned for that.

I added stitching details to the card, hoodie and jeans.
I also "distressed" the jeans a bit with my Gelly Roll White gel pen.
I think this is a fun card to make .

down in the Description Box below the video.

I hope you enjoyed this card & video!
