Be Merry Christmas Card featuring "Missy"!!

Hey everyone, It's Elina here with a Design Team project for the Jiggery Makery blog! For today's post I created a Christmas card featuring the fabulous "Missy," image, which you can find in Adele's Etsy shop by clicking on the highlighted name. I kept the design of the card simple by creating a festive background scene for the main image. I added sequins and bling throughout the card to tie everything in.
Here's the pic for you to check out:

The card measures 3 7/8" x 5 7/8" and is made from a sheet of burgundy card stock from a DCWV "Timeless Texture," paper pad.
Once I had my card base cut and folded, I set it aside to work on the image.

For the image, I used my alcohol markers to color her in.
Here's a rundown of the colors I used:
                                                    -Skin- FS5, Dusky Pink, R20
                                                     -Hair- E70, E74, E79
                               -Dress, Hat, Shoes- R17, R27, E74, C07, C08, C02, C01, C0,
At You Spica "Gold" glitter pen

To add a little more oomph to her dress, I used my gold glitter pen to create a polka dot pattern along the bottom and a few gold buttons to the bodice.
For her shoes and belt I added Glossy Accents to make them shine.

Next, to create my scene, I cut down a sheet of white card stock to 3" x 5 1/2".
I used my E74 and E79 markers to create wood panel flooring.
I added a sheet of red ticking stripe paper, just above the flooring, to mimic the look of wallpaper.
Afterwards, I grabbed another sheet of white card stock and drew a few presents that I could add along the bottom.
I used my RV63, RV66, RV69, G94, G99, and my gold glitter pen to color them in.
Next, I fussy cut them out and arranged them on the panel before adhering them down with my tape runner.
I added more Glossy Accents to a few of the bows and ribbons adorning the presents.

To decorate the walls a bit, I used my Recollections "Signs of the Season," stamp set.
I used the wreath image from the set, stamped it a few times using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, and colored them in using the same colors listed above.
After I fussy cut them out, I adhered them to the panel and finished them off using Gold Stickles.
I added foam tape to the back of the image and adhered her down.

I then took the panel and layered it on top of a sheet of green card stock that was cut to 3 1/4" x 5 7/8".
Next, I layered it again on top of sheet of white card stock, cut at 3 1/2" x 5 7/8".
Finally, I added foam tape to the back of the panel and adhered it to the card base.

As a final touch, I added a few gold sequins, pearls and a sentiment across the bottom, "Be Merry".

                                                         And ta-da!! Card complete!!

I hope you enjoyed this project for today!!
Thanks for stopping by, enjoy the rest of your evening, and as always, peace!! :)

CAS Christmas Tags featuring "Percy and Lilly"!!

Hey everyone, it's Elina here with a Design Team project for the Jiggery Makery blog! I made a few tags for Christmas featuring the adorable "Percy and Lilly".
I wanted to create a design that was clean and simple and that can be easily mass produced.
So, I decided to use craft card stock to print my images on and color them in using colored pencils.
All in all, I think I have achieved the look I was after.

Here's the pic for you to check out:

To create the tags, I first printed the images onto the craft card stock.
I then traced out my tag shape, making sure to adjust the size to accommodate the images.

For the "Season's Greetings," tag, measures 3 1/4" x 5 1/4".
I used The Kiss image for this one.
I colored them in using my colored pencils and here is a list of the colors I used:
-Penguins- Grey, Black, White, Light Orange, Dark Orange
-Hats and Scarf- Light Green, Dark Green, Red

I added dash lines around the edges of the tag and drew in a white heart using a white gel pen.
For the bottom of the tag, I used a white colored pencil and gel pen to create a snowy look. I used an Inkadinkado stamp set and Stampin Up Pigment White ink for the sentiment.

Next, for the "Warm Holiday Wishes," tag, I used the A Special Gift image.
I colored them in using the same colors as the first tag, but I added a pink colored pencil to the cheeks.
I kept the design scheme the same but changed the sentiment, again using an Inkadinkado stamp set.

And lastly, for the "Be Merry," tag, I used the A Special Kiss image.
The design and elements are the same as the other two except for the sentiment.

To finish them off, I tied some red and green baker's twine at the top.

And voila!! Tags complete!!

I hope you enjoyed this project for today!

Make sure to click on any of the highlighted image names in this post to be directed to the Jiggery Makery Etsy shop, where you can purchase these images.

Holiday Place Cards!!

Hey everyone, It's Elina here with a project I created using stamps from the Two Paper Divas store.
It has been a tradition in my home for the past couple of years to decorate our holiday table. I make the centerpiece, place mats, and place cards. Every year I try to come up with a different design for each project, and since I enjoyed altering the Hooters stamp set for Halloween I decided to use them again to make place cards for our table. I created a step by step tutorial on my YouTube channel, showing you how I changed these images up for Thanksgiving.
Here's the video for you to check out:

To create the base of the place cards, I cut 2 sheets of craft card stock to 5" x 5 1/2".
I stamped a pattern on the base using my VersaMark ink and Fall Leaves stamp set from the Two Paper Divas store.
I used my Martha Stewart Corner Rounder to round off the corners and inked the edges using Chocolate Chip Ink from Stampin' Up.
I then cut out scalloped circles and rectangles using my Cricut Explore machine.
I layered the pieces, adhered them, and inked the edges using Chocolate Chip ink.

For the scalloped circles, I used the Twig and Berries stamp set from the Two Paper Divas, and stamped it along the top and bottom.
Next, I used my BIC MarkIT Metallic marker in Yellow Gold to fill in the berries.
Afterwards, I set it aside to work on the image.

I stamped the owls on white card stock using my Memento Tuxedo Black ink and drew in the pilgrim hat and bonnet.
I used my alcohol markers to color them in. Here's a rundown of the colors I used:

-Owls- E70, E74, E79, G40, G46, 404, Spice
-Pilgrim Hat- C06, C07, C08, BIC MarkIT Yellow Gold Metallic marker
-Bonnet- B12, B14

Next I fussy cut the owls out, went around the edges using a black marker, and adhered them to the scalloped circles using foam tape.

I used my Cricut Explore again to die cut the letters for each person's name.
I colored them in using my RV63, RV66, RV69 to create an ombre effect.
I ran them through my Xyron sticker maker and added them to the place cards.

Finally, I assembled all my pieces together.
                                                         And voila!! Place Cards Complete!!

I hope you enjoyed this project for today!!
Thanks for stopping by, enjoy the rest of your evening, and as always, peace!! :)

Warm Holiday Wishes Card: Jiggery Makery DT Project

Hey everyone, it's Elina here with another design team project for the Jiggery Makery blog!!
For today's post, I created another Christmas card featuring one of Adele's lovely digis, Cindy.
Just click on the highlighted word "Cindy" and it will direct you to the Jiggery Makery Etsy shop where you can find this digi and many more.
For this project, I created a shaker card with a cozy background perfect for this digi.
Here's the pic for you to check out:

The card base measures 4 3/4" x 5 1/2," with a sheet of white card stock as the base.
I cut a sheet of patterned paper to the same size and adhered it to the card front.
I then went around the edges using my Chocolate Chip ink from Stampin Up, and added dash lines using my white gel pen.
Next, I set the card aside to work on the shaker element.

For the shaker, I drew a window shape on a scrap piece of white card stock which measures 3" x 3 1/4".
I divided it into four sections to represent the panes and cut them out.
Next adhered a piece of acetate behind the shaker and added die cut snowflakes and sequins.
I cut another piece of card stock to match the window frame and used my B12 marker to color it in.
With my pieces complete, all that was left to do now was add foam tape to the back of the shaker and adhere my backing piece.

I wanted to dress up the window a bit, so I stamped a string of ornaments along the top.
I added Glossy Accents and Stickles to make them sparkle and attached them to a strand of brown baker's twine.
To finish off the window shaker portion, I attached some green patterned paper shutters to either side.
Then I attached it to the card front.

For the image, I printed her out and used my alcohol markers to color her in.
Here's a rundown of the colors I used:
-Skin- FS5, Dusky Pink, R20
-Hair- E97, E99, E29
-Pants- G46, G28
-Sweater and Earmuffs- E70, E74, G46, G28, R27
-Boots- E74, E79

I adhered a strip of white card stock along the bottom and colored it in using my E70 and E74 markers.
Next, I fussy cut the image out and adhered her to the card base.

I stamped the greeting on the inside of the card using an Inkadinkado stamp set and Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

                                                             And ta-da!! Card complete!!

I hope you enjoyed this card for today!!
Thanks for stopping by; enjoy your evening, and peace!! :)

Happy Holidays Card: Two Paper Divas November Release Day Two!!

Hey everyone, happy Friday to you all!! It's Elina here with Day Two of the Two Paper Divas November Release. Below are some of the awesome stamp sets they've showcased on their blog:

                                                                     -Bloom Wildly

Make sure to head over to the Two Paper Divas store to purchase any of the new stamp sets featured today.
For today's card, I used the truck image shown above. I had a lot of fun playing with this stamp, which is perfect for making more masculine cards.
I have a tutorial up on my YouTube channel that shows you how you can alter this image.

Here's the pic of the Christmas card I made using this image:

The card measures 5 1/2" x 6 1/2," using a sheet of white card stock as the base.
I cut a sheet of light blue card stock at 5 1/4" x 6 1/4" for my card layer.
I set it aside then set it aside so that I could work on the main image panel.
I used a sheet of white Recollections card stock cut at 5 1/8" x 6 1/8" to create a background scene for the image.
After stamping the image, I drew in a few trees and colored them in using my E74 and E79 Copic markers.
I mapped out the areas I wanted to stay white and drew a line for the horizon.
Next, I filled in the skyline with my B12 marker.
To give the scene a snowy look, I used a tip I found on YouTube while doing some research on the subject.
This blew my mind when I discovered it and couldn't believe it never crossed my mind before.
"Add paint to Glossy Accents!"
This is definitely a technique I will be using on future projects.
I added white paint to Glossy Accents and dabbed it on the trees with a paintbrush.
It gives you a nice snowy look and you can dab on as little or as much as you want.
I also used it on the ground around the trees, and for the road.

Now, for the truck image, I used my Copic markers to color it in and give it a rusty look.
Here is a rundown of the colors I used. If you want to see the technique I used to color this image in, please feel free to head over to my YouTube channel for more details.

-Truck- B12, B14, E97, E99, E74, E29
C03, C04, C05, C06, C07, C08

I decided to draw a tree in the back of the truck, and used my G46, G28 and E74 markers to color it in.
Once I had the image colored in, I fussy cut it out and adhered it to the background.
I used more Glossy Accents to add snow to the truck and the tree.

I stamped the inside of the card using the Two Paper Divas, "Happy Everything," stamp set.

To finish the card off, I brushed on some Diamond Stickles to all the snowy areas.

And voila!! Card complete!! :)

I hope you enjoyed this card for today!!
Thanks for stopping by; have a great weekend, and peace!! :)

Sassy Christmas Card!!

Hey everyone, it's Elina here with a project for the Jiggery Makery blog! I created a quick Christmas card featuring Adele's newest digi, "Roxy". Make sure to head over to the Etsy shop by clicking on the word "Roxy", if you would like to purchase the image featured in today's card.
With that being said, here's the pic for you to check out:

The card measures 5" x 6" and uses craft card stock as the card base.
I added stitching around the edges using my white gel pen.
Next, I printed the image on a sheet of white card stock trimmed to 4 1/2" x 5 1/4".
I colored the image in using my alcohol markers, and here's a list of the colors I used:

                                                       -Skin- FS5, Dusky Pink, R20
                                                       -Hair- E70, E29, E74
                                                       -Coat and Hat- R17, R27, E74, C00, C01, C02
                                                       -Boots and Belt- C06, C07, C08
                                                       -Star- Y00, Y18

To create a background for the image, I drew in a Christmas tree complete with a custom tree skirt.
I used my G28, G46, and E74 markers to color in the tree.
For the tree skirt, I used my B12 and B14 Copic markers, and I created a wood floor using my E74 and E79 markers, making sure to draw in the wood grain to give it a realistic look.

I cut out a gold glitter frame complete with an epoxy ornament and hung it on the wall.
To make the frame, I stamped a frame stamp onto the glitter paper using Staz On ink and fussy cut it out.
I adhered a few gold sequins to the tree as ornaments.
I attached the image panel to a patterned paper, cut at 4 3/4" x 5 1/2," and I used foam tape to attach it to the card front.

                                                         And voila!! Card complete!!

I hope you enjoyed this card for today!!
Please check out my YouTube channel for more pics and details.

Octavia Winter Themed Card and a New Card Sketch Challenge!!

Hey everyone, happy Sunday to  you all!! It's that time again for another great card sketch challenge for the Feeling Sketchy blog!
Here's the pic for Card Sketch #132:

Make sure to stop by the Feeling Sketchy blog to play along and check out all the wonderful projects created by the Design Team members.
There is a great prize pack for you to win from our sponsor: Polkadoodles and I just want to give them a big, "Thank you," for for providing the Design Team members a few images to use on our projects.
The card I created for today features one of the adorable images from the Polkadoodles site, "Frosty Penguins, Octavia Frosted Winter.
The card design is simple, using a few elements found in the sketch.
Here's the pic for you to check out:

The card measures 5" x 5 1/2" and uses a light blue card stock from a Recollections paper pack as the card base.
To mimic the torn edges in the sketch, I cut a strip of white card stock at 1" adhering it to the card front using my tape runner.
I layered a patterned paper strip measuring 3/4" on top.
I set the card aside to begin work on the image.

First I researched how to color baby penguins and used my C0 markers to fill them in.
I found that their coloring is a mixture of light greys with a little black along the top.
I used my C00, C01, C02, C03, C04, C06, C08 to achieve a realistic look.
I added a white highlight to their eyes and beaks.
With the penguins complete, I moved on to the "Octavia" image.

Here's a rundown of the colors I used to color her in:
-Skin- FS5, Dusky Pink, R20
-Hair- E97, E99, E79
-Coat- R17, R27, E74
-Scarf and Mittens- G46, G28
-Dress- B12, B14
-Hat and Trim- C00, C01, C02, C03

When coloring with my red Copics, I like to use my brown marker to add highlights.
I know that you can find Copics in darker shades of red, but you also run the risk of it bleeding through your image.
For me, I like the warm tone that the brown gives the red and I also find that my colors don't bleed as much when blending.
It's just an option for you to try when using your red markers.

I colored in the background using my B29 and BT3 markers.
I added a highlight to the ground using my B00 marker and shadows around the image using my B14.

To finish the card off, I stamped a few snowflakes in the background using my VersaMark ink and white embossed them.
I also white embossed the sentiment, "Christmas brings out the Kid in us all!"

And voila! Card complete!! :)

I hope you enjoyed this card for today!!
Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, and peace!! :)

Please make sure to check out my YouTube channel for upcoming crafting and card making videos!!
