Hey Everyone!! I hope you all had a great weekend! I'm back with another great Card Sketch challenge for the Feeling Sketchy blog!
Here's the pic for Card Sketch #123:
Our sponsor is the fabulous Kenny K, who are graciously offering 3 digis from their store to the winner of this challenge.
The DT members got a chance to play around with the awesome digis to make some great cards based on the sketch.
So make sure to head over to the Feeling Sketchy blog to play along for your chance to win.
Well with that out the way, let's move on to the card I created featuring one of Kenny K's digis.
Here's the pic for you to check out:
The card is a standard A2 size, 4 1/4 x 5 1/2".
I used a sheet of white card stock for the card base and folded it in half lengthwise to create a landscape card.
I set it aside to work on the image.
I printed the image and used my alcohol markers to color her in.
Here's a rundown of the colors I used:
-Skin- FS5, FS9, CR3
-Hair- B00, C02, C04, C06, C08
-Outfit, Leggings, Boots, Googles- Plumtastic Purple, Woodsy Brown, Yellow Gold, C00, C02, C03, C04,, C06, C08, Bronze
-Wings- Yellow Gold, Bronze, C02, C04
I fussy cut the image out and went around the edges using a fine tip brown marker..
I added Glossy Accents to a few areas on the image and set it aside work on the background.
I used gold, copper, black/gold metallic papers from my stash and paper pieced them onto the card base.
I added some gold brads, gold embroidery floss, and a paper pieced heart as my embellishments.
I used pop dots to adhere the image to the card front.
I stamped the sentiment "Friends Forever" from an Inkadinkado set on white card stock.
I used my Yellow Gold BIC Metallic MarkIt marker to color it in, cut it out and added it to the card.
And voila!! Card complete!!
I hope you enjoyed this project for today!
Thanks for stopping by, enjoy the rest of your day and Peace!! :)
