"Bronies are Cool" Card & Video Tutorial feat. Stamp Anniething's "Dean" stamp!

Hey everyone it's Elina here and happy T.G.I.F to you all!
I hope your Friday is off o a good start!
For today's post I have a card I created inspired by "My Little Pony".
As you know, I love altering stamped images to give a new look.
If you read my previous post and/or video "Summertime means Unicorns"
you saw how I created a "unicorn" costume for the "Melanie" stamp from Stamp Anniething.
So going off of that idea, I decided to alter the "Dean" stamp from Stamp Anniething & give a custom hoodie inspired by "My Little Pony".

My daughters were huge fans of the show & I remember
my oldest telling me that the show had a huge cult following among guys.
They even have a name for these fans, "Brony".
I thought that was cool and she showed me the licensed merchandise geared to them.
So when we came across a hoodie based on "Rainbow Dash" that's when inspiration struck.
First I had figure out how to create the hoodie on the existing image.
So going back to my "unicorn" costume, I stamped the image &
drew the hoodie on top to create a template.

Here are a few close up pics:

Doesn't he look adorable?!

I love how this image turned out.
I hope to be able to film how I create the templates
so make sure to stay tuned for that.

I added stitching details to the card, hoodie and jeans.
I also "distressed" the jeans a bit with my Gelly Roll White gel pen.
I think this is a fun card to make .

I hope you enjoyed this card & video!

Hey everyone, it's Elina here and happy Tuesday to all!
I hope your day is off to a good start!
For today's post, I have a card to share featuring the
"Melanie-You're so Sassy" stamp set from
Stamp Anniething.
I have used this stamp before on a few cards and videos.
But I decided to tweak this image just a little.

Now if you follow my blog, you know that
I'm known for altering images from time to time.
So I decided to create a custom suit for this image.
It was more just playing around to see how it would look.
When I got down to the final look I knew I was on to something.

And luckily I was able to film the process.
You can check it out below, just click the video!

"Relax & Enjoy" card & video feat. Two Paper Divas stamp!

Hey everyone, it's Elina here ad happy T.G.I.F to you all!
I hope your Friday is off  to a great start!
For today's post I have created a summer card using the "Life's better in Flip Flops"
stamp set from Two Paper Divas.
Unfortunately the Two Paper Divas closed their shop a few months back
so this stamp set is no longer available for purchase.

I was fortunate enough to be a member of their Design Team
so I have a few of their stamps.
I was reorganizing my stamps when I came across this set being featured today.
I thought it would make a great summer themed card.
Luckily I was able to film the card making process
and you can check out the full tutorial below:

Here's a list of the colors I used:
Copics- RV14, E11, E13
Art Alternatives- R3, E2, BG3, BG11, B7, B2

"Miss you like Crazy" Card & Video plus an update!

Hey everyone, it's Elina here and happy Friday to you all!
I know it's been a while since I posted and my apologies for that.
But it's like they say, "Life gets in the way", which in my case is true.
Plus it doesn't help that we now have an above ground pool.
Which basically means that I have been spending lots of time relaxing and enjoying the H2O.
A big Thanks to my subscribers for sticking around, you guys are awesome.
Well now that I have updated you all on my situation, let's get to today's card and video.

For today's card, I used the Gerda Steiner "All Cats" stamp set.
I've used this set a couple of times and I love the super adorable kitties.
I especially love the grumpy kitty and I thought I would be cool to use him on a "Miss You" card.
Since it's summertime I decided to create a beach scene for this lil guy.
And the best part is I was able o film the process for you to check out.
